Pennies on a Cow's Stomach?

I guess this is someone's idea of a joke. I understand wanting to get rid of your pennies, but why this way? Some people are weird.

Penniless

Walt Rubel wants to be penniless when he dies. He wants money, just not pennies. He on a quest to spend all the pennies he's collected over the years. Oh yeah, and after being on hiatus for over a year, I'm back. Life gets complicated sometimes.

Who has time for this?

Apparently these guys, who made a portrait of President Trump out of pennies. They also made a portrait of Putin with bullet shells. Their artistic choices are definitely interesting.

Passing of 106 Year Old Coin Collector

A recent article in the New York Times describes the  life of coin enthusiast, Eric Newman who passed away a week ago. I enjoy history, and this article about his life and the coins he collected was very engaging. My condolences go out to his family and friends. His story was worth more than the value of the coins he collected.

15 Penny Facts

A new article at theindependent.com gives some facts about the hated penny. The fact that people use them for other things besides money just reinforces the fact that these things completely fail at their only purpose. Let's abandon these worthless blights on humanity.

Penny Floor at the Barber Shop

A barber shop owner decided to "tile" the floor of his shop with pennies here. It looks pretty cool, and I'm sure he was able to do it much cheaper than actually paying for tile, so a win for him.
